Gil Jimenez Felix is a Mexican filmmaker born and raised in the border city of Nogales, Sonora, México. Growing up in a somewhat normal family setting within an abnormal societal setting in the desertic area of Sonora amidst the violent  war against Narco, Gil found an escape and a unique way of expressing himself through cinema.

 

Nowadays,  after concluding a Masters in Filmmaking in Paris, France, he hopes to keep telling stories around the world that can make a difference and always honor his values and origins.
